Math:
We reviewed the basics for division. Review your notes on dividend, divisor, quotient and all the LOVELY varieties for division: slants, division symbol, "the house", fraction bar.  Ask yourself what goes in "the house"?   Make sure that you understand equivalent fractions.  We will use all of these for divison with decimals tomorrow.

Language Arts:
Common core book: pages 43-49. Attack the questions and read the three articles on Leonardo daVinci and Gutenberg.  DO NOT ANSWER THE QUESTIONS, WE'LL DO THEM TOGETHER! :)

SCIENCE:
Finish your ABC science vocabulary list and definitions.  We'll be using these tomorrow. :)

Other:
Wreath Sales:  Mrs. Bodden will be by tomorrow to check your lists of 10 names that you want to sell to: be prepared.

iReady- Many of you are completing the 2 lessons in math and 2 in reading each week-good for you! You are making fine progress and ripping through those lessons.  For those of you who have fallen behind, expect your report cards to reflect your effort.  Remember you are welcome to come into the classroom before school or after-school to complete lessons.
*Make sure that you you complete the EXTRA lesson first each week.  These are the lessons that I have assigned individually to augment instruction. Some of these lessons will be really easy; enjoy those!  Some of the lessons are harder; persevere-you can do it!
Read, type, and say something nice to your parents!  That's an imperative sentence!  (mandatory)
