Students worked on multiplying fractions.

History:
Students reviewed reasons that colonists were growing angry at their own British government.
Chapter 11 test (Big Mamoo) will be the following Friday-March 9th.

Remember Tuesday is art day; wear old clothes.

We started chapter 11, lesson 1 today...the colonists were in Quite a SNIT...ask your children about this. :)

Tonight is the fabulous Chipotle on glendale Ave. fundraiser-tell them at the register and bring in a receipt signed by an adult- the class with the most signed receipts is getting a prize...
Tomorrow is art-wear an OLD t-shirt so that the ink doesn't stain your duds.
Wednesday is the last day for iREADY completion for the trimester. Students who tested below mid-5th grade level should be doing two lessons per week.
Final camp paperwork is due by NO LATER than March 12! Be sure you have all of your forms in. Remember, if you are sending ANY medication with your child, you need to fill out a special form for that. See Mrs. Porter in the office for that form.

History:
We talked about the changes in our drills to deal with lockdowns on campus. It was a sad and scary conversation. I let the students ask questions and we talked about and practiced our new procedures.

Monday is the Chipotle fundraiser. YUM! Tell the cashier and they'll give a portion to our fifth grade activities fund. :)

Tomorrow is the Apex Fun Run!!! Tonight is the last chance to increase our pledges. Please help us out. :)
Students should wear comfortable walking/running shoes, appropriate clothes (NO JEANS or tight skirts/dresses) and bring a hat and sunscreen-they'll be outside for about 2 hours-from lunch recess until about 1:30pm.
Help!!! Our Apex Fun Run time is from 12:30-2pm. We need parent helpers please click here to sign up online.
