Dear Families,

Time flies when you’re having fun! Today during our Apex visit we got our 5th step in becoming STRONG leadersNext Level. This isn’t an everyday concept for students at this age. Simply put, Mr. Pepper described Next Level as changing levels in an elevator.   There are going to be times when students want to do the bare minimum just to get things done. Taking things to the Next Level means going above and going beyond and not settling for average!

As of today our class is at  $_37_/lap
Our goal is to get to $40/Lap by tomorrow so we can earn EXTRA RECESS as a team!

Here is tonight’s challenge-
T-shirt Decorating Party: The class with the biggest jump tonight will get their T-shirts delivered earlier than the rest of the school for the chance to decorate and sign them with their class and the Apex Team!

Thanks,

Coach Cannon and the Cannon’s Cougars

Dear Families,

Race Day is almost in sight! Today the Apex team taught us step #4 in becoming STRONG leaders - learning how to Overcome.  To overcome means to face challenges head on as we are confronted with them, keeping the mindset that we can endure and getting through it! No matter how difficult the obstacle, we must find a way to overcome.

Mr. Pepper used the double A rule: Attitude and Action! We learned that attitude is the way you think and feel, and action is what you do.  With a positive attitude and immediate, appropriate action, STRONG leaders can overcome. Remember, leaders never quit!

As of today our class is at  $30 Lap
Our goal is to get to $40/Lap by tomorrow so we can earn extra recess as a team!

Here is tonight’s challenge-
Out of State Challenge: The class that obtains the most out-of-state pledges over the weekend will earn a…. PIZZA PARTY with the Apex Team next week! Let’s get those out of state pledges and continue to help our school! Remember, the Share feature is a great and easy way to reach out to friends and family out of state!

Thanks,

Coach Cannon & Cannon’s Cougars

3. Dear Families,

As of today, we are halfway through our Apex leadership lessons! We learned all about step #3 in becoming a STRONG leader, which is to refuel. Sergeant Pepper) used the example of two tanks: the brain and the body. Each are refueled in opposite ways: the brain needing rest and the body needing fuel! We can only be STRONG leaders by taking care of our body through consistent exercise and healthy eating habits. We give our brains a break by getting a good amount of sleep, not worrying or stressing and not spending too much time on our devices.

As of today our class is at  $26/ Lap
Our goal is to get to $_40___/Lap by tomorrow so we can earn extra recess as a team!

If you have lost your child’s Access Code you can reach out to the support email at info@apexleadershipco.com.

Here is tonight’s challenge-
Share Challenge: The class that has the most shares by tomorrow will win a dance party!

Thanks,

Coach Cannon & the Cannon’s Cougars
