Math: We took a quiz adding and subtracting with unlike denominators. We finished reviewing the RCC pages 115-118. Finish p. 119 by next WEDNESDAY. Monday and Tuesday are field trip days for separate fifth grade teachers.

ELA: Students compared and contrasted characters in "When the Circus Came to Town." Make sure that you are typing each school night for at least 20 minutes and are reading nightly.

Science: We read about the water cycle. Be ready for quizzes on Chapter 4, Lessons 1 & 2 on Monday.

History: We continued to review early colonial life in North America and review necessary information for the field trip on Tuesday.

Many of my students did not turn in the summary chart and paragraph for the Jamestown Colony. Make sure that is turned in on Monday-no matter what! I will accept all late assignments. :)

Other: By this Sunday, each student needs to have completed 12 lessons since November 1st in both Reading and Math.
