Math: 

1.Today we practiced the steps for dividing with fractions: Study your notes.
    1. Turn all terms into fractions (convert mixed numbers into improper fractions.
     2. Leave the dividend alone!
     3. multiply by the divisor's reciprocal (simplify/cross cancel)
     4. simplify & write units

2.Make sure 2 worksheets are complete: p. 82 and p. 84, along with Unit 3 p. 19, 22-23

3. Get parent signatures on worksheets p. 124/125 and 105/106

Language Arts:

We studied "My Country Tis of Thee" song with its rhyme scheme, and looked at alliteration, tone of Dr. King's delivery of his speech, read Sneetches, discussed metaphors, humor, and various other tools the author's used to teach about equality and liberty.

Homework: Memorize Gettysburg Address by Thursday.  Choose whether you want to write your essay on liberty or equality.

Read and type nightly!!!!!!! (There's all my big emotion for the day...)

Afternoon:  We had improv and PE today.

Science:

Make sure you are ready for Science test on chapter 4 this Friday.
