Math: We worked on common core math problems involving large amounts of data. This required creating tables. It is strongly recommended that you review pages 88-89 over the weekend to prepare for a Tuesday test.

Language Arts: We're writing our stories. It is fun!!! Ask your children to show you the google docs stories.
Reading logs are due next Thursday.

Science: We reviewed tests and looked at cool plant videos online. There's nothing like carnivorous plants to inspire students to study botany.

History: We took notes on early North American European explorers and "primogeniture".

Other:
1. Our wreath fundraiser is a great way to raise money for a fabulous play day.

2. Daylight Savings ends this weekend, November 1, 2015 at 2:00 a.m. "Fall Back".
Remember to turn your clocks back one hour.

3. As a reminder from the Fire Department changing your clocks is also a great reminder to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.

4. Please have safe and happy Halloween.
Remember:
1. Only go trick or treating with an adult.
2. Bring a flashlight thing so old ladies like me can see you when we're driving.
3. Cross streets only at corners.
4. NEVER go into a stranger's house for candy.
5. HAVE YOUR PARENTS CHECK YOUR CANDY BEFORE YOU CONSUME ANY OF IT.
6. Do NOT bring your candy to school.
