Math:
We are in the home stretch before the state testing. We will begin testing at the end of April. We are heading into measurement conversion unit, a unit on volume. Then, it's time for testing.

Today we completed quizzes on adding/subtracting fractions and the relative product of multiplying fractions. I'll send these home for a parent signature on Monday.

We also completed Lesson 7 worksheet on place value, p. 13.

English Language Arts:
We reviewed our work on finding information from multiple sources and review our grammar concepts from the week (keeping verb tenses consistent).

Science:
We read chapter 5, lesson 2 aloud.  Test will be on Monday, April 6.
The state science testing will be on Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8th. This test covers 4th and 5th grade science content standards. Remember the 4th grade book is available online through the Keppel Website or google search "Road to 900".
