Math:
1. Get multiplication quiz signed by a parent/grandparent. (Remember bring them the pen and the quiz, this increases the likelihood of success!)
2. We reviewed rules of divisibility by completing MJ p. 19
3. We worked on common core pages 12-13-whew, we got deep into powers of 10! Make sure your child understands how powers of ten are related to multiplication and division.
LA:
We listened to the tear-jerker story Something to Remember Me By. We are combining our knowledge of inference with the good writing practice of including many details by completing a paragraph that describes, without stating, an object/animal/band/food that either disgusts or scares us. I will grade these on how well, I can infer based on students' details.
History:
Finish reading Chapter 3, Lesson 1. Read with a purpose! Look for ideas that you can use for your upcoming barter project. Who? What? Where? Why? How? When??????? More details to follow.
Other:
Read for 40 minutes. Type for 20 minutes
