Language Arts:
We studied the steps for answering questions explicitly and inferentially? Do you remember???

1. Reading the text and the question.
2. Ask myself: Is the exact answer in the text (explicit) or do I need to infer?
3. Circle clue words, phrases, or sentences that answer the question.
4.  Decide what portion of the information I want to quote.
5. Turn the question into a statement and add my quote.
