Math:
We completed all pages on rounding and estimating. Common Core 30-33; MJ 32,33,35,36, 39 & two math worksheets
When rounding:
1. Count by the place value that they tell you to round to.
2. Draw a number line and write your two choices on each end.
3. Place the value that you must round to on your number line.
4. Decide which side is that number closest to & use that number for your answer.
Example: Round 4.569 to the nearest tenth.
1. Counting by tenths... 4.5, 4.6
I______________I______________I__
2. 4.5 4.55 4.6
3. I______________I___I___________I__
4.5 4.55 4.56 4.6
4. It is closer to 4.6, so the answer is 4.6.

Math:
1. Get multiplication quiz signed by a parent/grandparent. (Remember bring them the pen and the quiz, this increases the likelihood of success!)
2. We reviewed rules of divisibility by completing MJ p. 19

LA:
We listened to the tear-jerker story Something to Remember Me By. We are combining our knowledge of inference with the good writing practice of including many details by completing a paragraph that describes, without stating, an object/animal/band/food that either disgusts or scares us. I will grade these on how well, I can infer based on students' details.
History:
Finish reading Chapter 3, Lesson 1. Read with a purpose! Look for ideas that you can use for your upcoming barter project. Who? What? Where? Why? How? When??????? More details to follow.
